The Gog/Magog War study begins to examine the geneology of Gog/Magog and the relationship to Reuben—the first-born, disinherited son son of Jacob who is a pattern for the cycle described by Jesus: “the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.” (Matthew 20:16).
The Third Day study turns its attention to a segment of prophetic scripture which is both (seemingly) timely, and highly misunderstood: the two chapters of Ezekiel which comprise what is called the “Gog/Magog War”. To gain a perspective on this most cryptic utterance by Ezekiel, we deploy the tools of study which are hallmarks of The Third Day: we scrutinize the CONTEXT of the scripture, examine the players and locations, and break out the study of the key words in the root language.
