This video eventually erupted into a major viral web story which landed Threshing Floor into the flame wars of a controversy. Eventually, the video spread widely, and was even pilfered by Alex Jones and InfoWars.com; the controversy resulted in such an uprising inside Evangelical circles that Threshing Floor wound up becoming “ground zero” in a reprisal by noted Messianic evangelist, Dr. Michael Brown. To this day, John Hagee has never delivered on a public retraction of his statements, no produced the long promised revisions to a second edition his book, “In Defense of Israel”.
In a promotional video for his new book “In Defense of Israel”, Pastor John Hagee, director of Christians United For Israel (CUFI) makes astonishing assertions regarding the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ. Hagee claims:
The Jewish people, as a whole did not reject Jesus as Messiah.
Jesus did not come to Earth to BE the Messiah.
Jesus refused by word and deed to be the Messiah.
The Jews cannot be blamed for not accepting what was never offered.

Is Hagee NOT rejecting the truth of the entire New Testament account of Jesus’ ministry? What then could the Lord have possibly meant when He proclaimed openly in the synagogue at Nazereth:“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised…”-Luke 4:18
Did Jesus lie when He affirmed to Peter (a jew), in response to Peter’s statement, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”—“flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 16:16-17)
Hagee, a major figure in Evangelical Christianity and the powerful figurehead for Christian Zionism in America, and around the world has now repudiated the entire Gospel of Jesus Christ and twisted the intent of God, Himself who sent Christ “to the jew first”.
