The Third Day Studies
This is the home of the “Third Day” prophecy series presented on the Threshing Floor radio shows. In late 2005 Sue Patterson and Randy Maugans, hosts on the Threshing Floor began, unknowingly, a long journey into opening up the prophetic understanding of scripture for the last days.
History
Randy Maugans and Sue Patterson were part of a rotating team of hosts on the original Threshing Floor series. What started as a single show combing these two voices, on the show, “The Wedding Feast At Caana”, and the prophetic shadows seen in that text from John chapter 3, quickly expanded into a series which has spanned two years and over two hundred shows under the banner of the “Third Day” series.
These shows document not only studies of the prophetic texts in scripture, with emphasis on the Book of Revelation, but the process, language, and methodology for uncovering the hidden meanings of words within the English text of the King James Bible using the root words in the original tongues. Throughout the course of the original eighteen shows, which were to be a prophetic overview of the the tribulation as seen by John in Revelation, a momentum began to build and it became obvious with the introduction of the first “Abomination of Desolation” show that this was to be a long term committment to understanding much more than events, peoples, and timing.
The Archives
As the volume of audio accumulated on the original website weblog, where new show are posted, it became apparent that the means of searching and locating specific shows within the sprawling study was breaking down. As many new listeners have come in to hear the shows and study the materials, the challenge has been to organize the original series into a meaningful and accessible collection. This archive is the permanant repository for the shows and places them in chronological order by study themes.
Building Blocks of Understanding
While the series represents 100′s of hours of audio material with written study notes, each section may be heard as a stand alone unit called Building Blocks. New concepts, definitions, and and metaphorical precepts are defined using the King James Bible citations, Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance references, English dictionary definitions. The completion of one Building Block will move into the next level and snap together understanding like puzzle pieces—more correctly, like puzzles within a grand master puzzle.
