The Black Horse and the Scales
“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. [6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” - Revelation 6:5, 6
From the book, “HIS Secret”, Sue Patterson interprets the four seals of Revelation which are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalype. This study is from the view of the long time prophecy studies, “The 144,000 and the Multitude”:
The black horse is a representation of the Scorpions. The pair of balances is an identification of commerce using the elements of wheat and barley with monetary value. The Scorpions betray the Multitude for personal gain. Let’s examine this horse and its attributes which links the black horse to the Scorpions.
